Pocatello Lights the Wells

Come to Lookout Point on August 23 at 7 p.m. for a celebration!

From the Facebook event:

“Come and celebrate the impact that our community is having on the lives of over 4,500 people in the Ukrainian community of Novovorontsovka. You have provided them with the only power source they have in this community- solar panels that are bringing wells back to life!

“On Saturday, August 23, at Lookout Point, enjoy live music, Ukrainian treats, games, and write a note to a Ukrainian family which will be delivered by Lena to them just a few days later!

“Watch the premier of the video about the project, 'meet' the mayor of that community, and celebrate the Independence Day of Ukraine with the rest of the world.”

You can buy tickets for games and Ukrainian treats to raise funds for another well!! So many people are being blessed by our Pocatello community!
